Please do read everything carefully, as it's always better to know exactly where you stand, before a force majeure occurs, rather than finding out after the event.

Ordering
These terms and conditions apply to all transactions received via telephone, e-mail or post. Placing an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions, so please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice. These terms and conditions were last amended on 5th November 2010.

Express Service
If required, the customer can request 'Express Service', ensuring swift delivery of their stationery. Workload permitting, Mooks Design Limited will agree and relevant timings will then be issued to the customer. Mooks Design Limited guarantee to fulfil an Express order, within the agreed timings, unless the customer fails to sign off and approve the digital proof, for print, within 4 full working days before the specified delivery date.

Samples
Mooks Design Limited offers one sample free of charge, but if additional samples are required, these will be charged at the listed, full price item cost. Any additional samples bought will be fully refundable against a placed order. Please note: this does not apply to 'Bespoke Sample Packs'.

We will always endeavour to send the exact design and colour you have requested but sometimes this isn’t possible therefore we will send you the closest alternative. Please be aware that during busy periods, samples could take up to 4 weeks to arrive. If you are in a hurry please let us know and we will do the best we can to assist you.

Please Note: Samples are generally printed on white card-stock only unless otherwise stated. Print colours may vary when printed on other card finishes or colours. Please be aware that cards may vary slightly in colour or finish, depending on the materials used. Samples are to be treated as a guide only. For best results please provide a swatch, or return your Mooks sample, along with your order, for colour matching at print stage.

Offers
Promotions and discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other offer given by Mooks Design Limited or participating companies. Offer codes will be accepted for the life of the offer only.

Proofs
Electronic PDF proofs will be created and emailed to the client for checking unless otherwise requested. Alternative hard copy proofs are printed on A4 paper and are not indicative of finished print quality. Proofs are produced for the client to check the layouts — design and wording etc prior to printing. The first three proof amendments
per item are free, if subsequent changes are made then any additional proofs are charged at £5.00 each amendment.

Please be aware that uncalibrated computer monitors don't often show a true representation of colour. For best results please provide a swatch, along with your order, for colour matching at print stage. Whilst we cannot guarantee a perfect colour match, it will certainly be as near as humanly possible.

Mooks Design Limited cannot be held responsible for any typing or image errors noticed after the proofs have been checked and client approval given. Any amendments required must be submitted via email or marked up on the original paper proof, signed and returned. Subsequent proofs will be black and white or in PDF format. Any amendments made after final approval and printing will be charged accordingly.

Font Changes & Charges
Customers can customise their stationery with alternative fonts from the standard ones shown on the Mooks Design website. There will, however, be a £15 surcharge implemented to do so as changing the typeface can dramatically alter the leading and kerning of the copy, thus creating more work for the design team. Due to the time it takes our designers to alter the kerning and leading of fonts, when alterations are requested, a £15 surcharge has be added added to cover art-working time. If, after a font change has been requested and actioned, you change your mind and revert back to the original font, the £15 surcharge will still be applicable, as the time will have been already been spent artworking your proof, and will not be refunded.

Copyright
All designs on this site are the sole property of Mooks Design Limited and are protected by copyright. They may not be reproduced in any form without the permission of Mooks Design Limited. Any improper or illegal use of the designs will be pursued.

A copyright credit, plus the Mooks Design web address, will be used on all Mooks Design printed stationery. This is to aid copyright protection and may not be removed or altered under any circumstances.

With regards to copyright permission for hymns and poems you wish to use within your Order Of Service/Ceremony. Please seek permission to use any material from your vicar or registrar before you ask us to include it in your stationery.

Prices
All prices are subject to change without notice. Once your order has been confirmed and your invoice paid, however, the prices are secure. All prices shown include VAT. The price includes the typesetting, proofs and printing. Orders will be taken as acceptance of the terms and conditions shown on this website.

Payment
Payment should be made in full at the time of order. Funds must have cleared before we print your wedding stationery.

Discount
Mooks Design Limited can recoup any money given as a saving to the customer, if the terms of the discount are defaulted on.

Timings
For wedding stationery, please allow at least 6 weeks from receipt of order to delivery.
If you require a shorter delivery time, do let us know and we will try our best to meet your deadline. In very urgent cases we can offer an express service. This will, however, incur an additional cost of £100 for Off-The-Peg ranges. The express surcharge will ensure that we will have your wedding stationery designed and printed within 10 working days. Price on application for Bespoke wedding stationery. Please contact us for more details.

PLEASE NOTE:
We require a complete list of guest names for seating plans, and place-cards printed with guests names, NO LATER THAN 3 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING DATE. If names are supplied after this time, there is a chance that we will not be able to meet the deadline and on these occasions, Mooks Design cannot be held responsible for stationery arriving later than required. If we do not receive your complete guest list at least 3 weeks before the date of your wedding, payment for goods arriving late WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

For baby stationery we will endeavour to turn around orders within 14 working days from receipt of order. Again, an express service is offered with an added cost of £100. This will ensure that we will have your stationery with you within 7 working days.

Packing, Postage & Delivery
We take absolute care and attention when packaging your stationery. Safe and appropriate packaging is always used. Postage and packing charges are £12 - insured delivery - on all orders within the UK mainland; consignments to Northern Ireland and the UK Highlands and islands are chargeable at £17 — per 3kg parcel and under — (costs increase for larger orders; please enquire before placing your order). Parcels will be delivered Monday to Friday, as standard, and a signature will be required upon delivery to provide proof of receipt. Parcels under 1.5kg will be carried with Royal Mail. Larger parcels will be sent via courier. Mooks Design Limited prides itself on excellent customer service and quality. Every effort is made to ensure that parcels are despatched and delivered safely and on time. If the terms outlined in our 'Timings' terms are met, Mooks Design Limited guarantee that stationery will be sent on a service that ensures they arrive by your wedding date. If the parcel is delayed or lost Mooks Design Limited will do everything possible to locate, or replace, the stationery and will seek compensation from the party responsible itself.

If our 'Timings' are not adhered to and the delay or loss of an order results in it being useless for its original purpose, Mooks Design Limited accepts no liability for any additional cost to the client for replacements. Where Mooks Design Limited performs its obligations to rectify defective/lost orders under this condition you will not be entitled to any further claim in respect of the work done nor will you be entitled to treat delivery thereof as a ground for repudiating the contract, failing to pay for the work or cancelling further deliveries.

International Delivery
We can also deliver to Europe, USA, Canada and Australia if required. All our stationery is invoiced in UK sterling and payment can be made by international bank transfer or PAYPAL. Please contact us, prior to confirming your order, with regards to delivery costs as these vary depending on weight and destination.

The ordering process and lead times for international customers are the same as the UK. However, proofs will be emailed PDF’s rather than printed hard-copies (if printed proofs are requested lead times will increase accordingly).

Returns
For all personalised products that are made to order, we cannot offer an exchange or refund. Only damaged or faulty goods can be returned for refund or exchange.

Please ensure that Mooks Design Limited are notified of damaged or faulty goods or incomplete orders within seven days of receipt of your order. Claims made after this time will not be accepted.

Availability of Materials & Colour Variation
Orders are subject to availability of materials. In the event of supply difficulties Mooks Design Limited will inform you immediately to discuss alternative materials or designs.

Please be aware that uncalibrated computer monitors don't often show a true representation of colour. For best results please provide a swatch, along with your order, for colour matching at print stage. Whilst we cannot guarantee a perfect colour match, it will certainly be as near as humanly possible.

Due to the bespoke nature of the printing small variations in colour may occur. For orders that are printed in separate batches or split over a time period, there is always a possibility of colour variation or print discrepancy. This is due to items being printed in short runs, using different equipment or ink batches. Whilst we would always endeavour to get an exact colour match, please be aware that there is a possibility that items may not be identical in respect of colour and print quality. Please be aware that payment for colour discrepancies will not be refunded.

Cancellations, Loss or Damage
If an order is cancelled for any reason, 50% of the full order cost will be chargeable in order to cover any design work already completed at the time of cancellation. Once proofs are signed off and approved however, a refund will no longer be possible and orders must be paid for in full.

We are responsible for your goods until they are delivered to your door and signed for. We only deliver goods to the address on the original order and goods will not be left without a signature. You are responsible for the goods when they have been signed for and accepted. After acceptance, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your risk. Please be aware that Mooks Design Limited cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage once an order has been despatched and signed for.
